THE BARN - Scheduled Completion Spring 2011

RE-USE - The project explored the idea that Re-Use is the most sustainable way to build. The 2 acre site came with a partially burnt down 1820's farm house and a structurally unsound 1890's hay barn. All materials including the flooring & beams that were salvagable from the farm house were re-used in the reconstruction of the Barn. The original siding of the barn was also re-used after removal and installation of a rain screen.
